Modjewel

2015

In 2015, an accessory start up approached me to design a clasp for a new handbag concept.  Proportions, dimensions, and keeping the brands design aesthetic were all things to consider.

Personally, drawn to geometric shapes, I explored the trapezoid, and implementing a jewel or stone of some sort inside the shape.

Modjewel bags went to market and is sold via their website, and Amazon. The removable clasp I designed is one of the two clasp offerings to their build your own bag concept.
