Kids Fall 2021 shoe trends

Although Covid-19 may be having families stay home more, the shoe game is not boring. I know for me, I may be home more but I would like to keep it fashionable to motivate me, and the time I’m out walking my dog, I want to keep it fashionable to keep my spirits high. The same applies for kids.

Here are my two of my favorite shoe trends for kids.

Stella McCartney is doing an amazing job in the shoe arena. Not only are they vegan ( many of their materials are PETA approved), the designs are also creative, and fun. One trend I’m seeing is bold branding. Logos are big, and creatively placed. I love the oversized Balenciaga logo on the outsole which you can see here. I also love these. The robust branding is not limited to logos, but fun sayings is a way to add playfulness to a kids shoe design.

Slides are shoes I’m wearing a lot more often these days. It’s also my eight-year- old nephews’ favorite silhouette (their Skechers sneaker slides to be exact). He says, there easy, and comfortable. When he’s home doing zoom classes, he likes to feel casual and prefers to wear a shoe rather than slippers.

The quilting brings a sport vibe. These quilted details are a great way to give life to a sneaker construction. Especially if you can create a quilted pattern like the Nike’s above.
