Just a little creative fun! I never know what I’m going to come up with when I put pen to paper.
Chinese New Year is a known holiday in the shoe world because a lot of footwear is made out of China. Our design timelines are always centered around this holiday. We always make sure to respect the holiday. I enjoy sending my Far East friends a greeting card honoring their New Year!
Here’s some fun info I read about on the year of the rat:
In Chinese culture, rats were seen as a sign of wealth and surplus.
Rats are clever, quick thinkers; successful, but content with living a quiet and peaceful life.
On the financial side, they like saving and can be stingy.
2020 will perform reasonably well for the Rat. Success will come in the form of career.
