Podcasts are something I became addicted to when I was traveling a lot for work. Going to China, sitting in cars, or airports got a little boring. Since then I’ve always beefed up my podcast library. Now with less travel, I listen while working, or walking my dog.

Here are some of my current favorites:

Business of Fashion: I like their current conversations regarding business challenges due to Covid-19. Also, what brands need to be thinking about in the future, and what changes brands need to start making in our new normal. It’s a nice refresh from the let’s talk to famous designers and hear their story.

Leave your Mark:  I was listening to a podcast with Rebecca Minkoff and discovered Leave your Mark. It’s a new podcast for me, and really enjoy a lot of the topics which have to do with social media, brand building, and how powerful women get to where they are.

Out of Office: This has more of a millennial vibe which I am not, but I do design for them. I love hearing what inspires millennials, their buying habits, work habits, and most of all social influences. Babba Rivera, the owner of By babba marketing agency interviews a lot of Scandinavian brands, and indie brand. It’s a great way to learn about new brands.

The Creative Voyage: If you’re a creative professional this is a good podcast. Inspiring, and realistic points of view from freelancers in different fields. They seem to not have as many shows, but when they do, I really enjoy listening.

The Life Coach School: This is not really a life coach school, but tips on how to handle career challenges, thoughts, habits, how to self-care, and much more. I really enjoy this podcast as a reminder that I can conquer all if I change my mindset! Sometimes a little help is needed and that’s what this podcast does for me.

Conscious Chatter: If you’re in the sustainability game or are looking to redirect your business to include sustainability this is a great start. Love hearing about brands, and their journey to the sustainability realm.

Ok, so let’s have a little fun. Doesn’t need to be all business.

Dying for Sex-: Going to be straight up, this is a chick podcast in my opinion. I’m having a hard time seeing a guy loving this podcast but maybe I’m wrong, and please tell me. This podcast is about two friends, Molly and Nikki, decide to start a podcast because one of them is dying. You will hear funny sex stories, and also feel the love of two friends. A good one if you literally want to laugh out loud.

Blood Ties: Wondery is killing it in podcasts. This is an actual voice drama. This is not someone telling the story but actors acting the story out with their voice. If you like family, scandal, crime, and drama. It’s all in one.

Some other podcasts are Business Wars, We crashed, Shoe-In, and for some light trash/ pop culture, Even the Rich

I’m always looking for new podcasts so if you have any you can recommend, please tell me in the comments. I’d love to hear about them!

Oh, and if you’re looking for some cool sweats. Here are some of my favorites, this, this, this and this!
