Fall 2021 Key Silhouettes

Fall is always a fun season to design. I feel like there are so many options, and patterns to choose from.
Fall 2021 will be the year of statement pieces. We’ve lived thru a pandemic. We stayed indoors wearing sweats, sneakers, and some type of a slip on shoe. We’re ready to go out, and make noise again with our fashion choices.
Women's footwear will continue to stay in the comfort realm but show up fashionable, stronger, and are statement makers.
Chunky outsoles give us height , but also lets us feel powerful. Open toe is still an option for the winter months but with socks. The open toe also gives us the opportunity to wear these for resort, and maybe early spring.

Making a statement
We got tired wearing flats, so we’re ready to put our heels back on, but now we’re playing with color, bright greens, purple tones, yellows, and deep red’s are colors for the season.

Square toes and sexy heels are the two S’s of the season. Ankle wraps like these also fit into the key silhouettes for Fall. These styles can all be worn with colorful socks that make a stronger statement.

No more simple block heel boots
Tall shaft boots with block heels is something we’ve seen over and over. How many can a girl have? These square toe/platformesque boots are a fresh take to the overdone block heel boot. The toe shape can be altered to an almond toe, or even made pointy. I love the stretch material around the shaft to give the option to wear with a dress, skirt, and or a pair of jeans.

Material and color block play
Sneakers will still be in our wardrobe. They will have more material blocking, lots of color, and will be dressy enough to wear with a dress to work on a Friday, or Saturday out to lunch and shopping with friends.
2021 will be the year of change, and discovery. We’ve stayed in for a long time, and by next fall we hope to be venturing out. We will be excited about it, and ready to take our wardrobe to another level. More risk and more play.
