Luxury Vegan Footwear by Linton

In 2020, I had the opportunity to partner up with animal and wild life advocate, Louise Linton, and assist her in building a shoe collection that was not only luxurious but vegan.
Linton’s creative direction consisted of her signature emerald sole, and brand icon, a fierce jaguar.

Initially, Linton’s concept was to create a pump with an emerald sole, and gold hardware on the heel with branding. However, through the design process, Linton injected her love for gold hardware into all of her designs with chains, and double “L” logo.

A one construction micro collection evolved into adding a sandal silhouette. We landed on a 100MM sandal construction with a beautiful last made in Italy.

To maintain an artisan feel we went with production out of Italy. Lasts and heels were custom made.
All upper materials were sourced from Italy and are Peta certified.
Outsole was sourced out of Spain, and also PETA certified.
The fit and design is impeccable. It was the first time the factory worked with an outsole that was not leather, and so there were many new challenges to overcome during this process. However, with a lot of determination from design and development teams the outcome is a luxury shoe made with the finest vegan leathers out there. You can see more of the collection here.
