Flatform sandals for under $200
I always get asked by friends and family for shoe suggestions.
Whether it be party shoes for a girl’s trip to Vegas, or comfortable but stylish shoes for work, I seem to be the go-to person.
Being that I am a shoe designer. I’m always on the hunt for a good pair of shoes, I thought it would be fun to share my favorite shoes, and brands.
This week’s series is flatform sandals that are comfortable but stylish under $200.
As a shoe designer, when I’m buying shoes, I’m looking at everything. Is the toe shape nice? What are the materials made from? Will these be comfortable or tear up my feet?
Let’s also be clear, just because you pay $500 or more for a pair of shoes it doesn’t mean it’s made of the highest quality, and that the fit is impeccable. In fact, I can think of several brands that have nice designs, but their fit needs work.
Here are my few of my favorite shoes that are under $200.
Larroude is a brand that launched during the pandemic. The brand has fun, colorful designs with a great price point.
I saw these and thought these would be great essential for summer . I love the monochromatic look, color, and the last shape. My concerns would be the that it’s textile, and the elastic strap in the back The elastic adds a nice design detail though. The insole looks very comfortable. I would definitely give these a try.
Vagabond is making some very cool shoes these days. The Evy platform is great for comfort. The strappy sandal gives this platform a feminine vibe. I also really like the last shape. It’s proportional and a nice squarish shape. Hereu make a similar one here. They’re more expensive but they offer a lot more colors. The last is more traditional, and if you like a wraparound ankle strap then these might be for you.
Spanish brand Camper has some great shoes this season. My experience with the brand is there fit is good and the quality is nice as well.
I am in love with these Prada’s but not sure I can justify these basic babies for $925. I was so happy to find a dupe by Camper. You can see them here.
I do also love these, and these. Which of these do you like? Do you have a shoe brand that sells footwear under $200 that you like?
